1. Agreement to these terms
By creating an account, verifying an email address, posting a listing, sending a message, approving or linking a youth account, or otherwise using NextClub, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, the Privacy Policy, and the Safety Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What NextClub is
NextClub is a soccer opportunity and roster-connection platform. It helps clubs and coaches publish roster needs and helps players or parents/guardians publish player availability. NextClub facilitates introductions; it does not guarantee roster placement, player quality, coach quality, club legitimacy, tryout selection, fees, playing time, or any offline outcome.
3. Age and account eligibility
- Club/coach and parent/guardian accounts must be operated by adults age 18 or older.
- Players under 13 may not operate their own NextClub account. A parent or legal guardian must manage the player's listing and communication.
- Players ages 13–17 may create a player account only when the platform's parent/guardian consent process is completed and the account is linked to an adult guardian before full posting or messaging participation.
- Users must provide accurate age, role, and account information. Circumventing age, guardian, email-verification, or safety safeguards is prohibited.
4. Email and account verification
NextClub may require users to verify control of an email address before full account use. Club/coach accounts may also be required to provide information sufficient for NextClub to review identity, affiliation, or legitimate soccer activity. Platform verification is a safety and integrity control, not a warranty, certification, background check, or endorsement. NextClub may approve, reject, revoke, or re-review verification when reasonably necessary.
5. Listings
Listings must relate to legitimate soccer opportunities. Users may not post false, deceptive, exploitative, illegal, or misleading opportunities. Youth player listings are designed to display limited public information. Users must not place a minor's phone number, email address, social-media handle, exact home address, school-identifying information, date of birth, or similar private contact details into public youth listing notes. NextClub may automatically block or hide content that appears to contain such information.
6. Messaging and guardian visibility
NextClub messaging is intended for soccer-related communication. Messaging is text-only in the current version. Where a linked youth account is involved, the linked parent/guardian may view conversations. Users should share only information they are comfortable sharing and must comply with all youth-safety rules.
7. NextClub Support and administrator access
Authorized NextClub administrators may contact users or participate in an existing conversation under a clearly labeled NextClub Support identity for support, safety, moderation, security, or platform-integrity purposes. Authorized administrators may review relevant conversations, user reports, verification information, and safety records. Administrative activity may be logged.
8. Safety monitoring disclosure
To protect users and enforce platform rules, messages may be automatically screened, including analysis of recent conversation context, and may be reviewed by authorized NextClub safety administrators. Critical indicators involving a minor may cause a conversation to be paused. Automated screening can produce false positives or miss harmful content and is not a substitute for human judgment or legally required reporting procedures.
9. Prohibited conduct
You may not use NextClub to:
- Sexualize, groom, exploit, harass, threaten, stalk, bully, or endanger a minor or any other user.
- Ask a minor to keep conversations, gifts, meetings, relationships, images, or communications secret from a parent/guardian.
- Request sexual content, intimate images, or inappropriate photographs from a minor.
- Pressure a minor to move a conversation off-platform, disclose a home/school location, or meet privately without appropriate guardian involvement.
- Impersonate another person or organization, misrepresent credentials, or evade a suspension, block, age gate, email verification, rate limit, guardian control, or club-verification requirement.
- Use the service for spam, scraping, credential attacks, unauthorized advertising, fraud, malware, unlawful discrimination, or other illegal or abusive activity.
10. Reporting, blocking, moderation, and emergency action
Users may report and block accounts. NextClub may pause chats, preserve relevant records, restrict features, remove listings, suspend users, deactivate accounts, or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary for safety, security, legal obligations, fraud prevention, or enforcement. Serious concerns may be escalated to appropriate authorities or reporting organizations when legally required or otherwise permitted by law.
11. Rate limiting and security controls
NextClub may limit login attempts, registrations, password-reset requests, verification messages, chat activity, reports, listing creation, or other actions to prevent abuse, spam, automated attacks, and service disruption. Users may not attempt to bypass these controls.
12. Offline interactions
NextClub does not supervise tryouts, practices, meetings, transportation, financial arrangements, or other offline interactions. Parents/guardians and clubs are responsible for appropriate supervision, due diligence, venue safety, background checks where applicable, and compliance with governing soccer organization and local rules. Youth meetings should occur in appropriate soccer settings with parent/guardian awareness and supervision.
13. Account security
Users are responsible for keeping credentials secure and for activity under their accounts. NextClub may require stronger authentication for administrators and sensitive actions. Users should promptly report suspected compromise and use the password-reset process when necessary. NextClub may invalidate sessions following password changes, security events, or administrative action.
14. Privacy requests and account deletion
Privacy practices are described in the Privacy Policy. Users may submit available requests for access/export, correction, restriction, or deletion. Approved account deletion may result in deactivation and anonymization, removal of ordinary listings and conversations, invalidation of sessions and security tokens, and other data cleanup. NextClub may retain information when reasonably necessary for active safeguarding, legal obligations, fraud prevention, security, or legitimate audit records.
15. Voluntary support contributions
NextClub may offer an optional “Support NextClub” feature. Contributions are voluntary and do not improve ranking, access, verification, moderation priority, or roster opportunities. Unless NextClub later states otherwise through an eligible nonprofit entity, contributions are not represented as tax-deductible charitable donations. Payments are processed by an external payment provider; NextClub is designed not to store full payment-card details.
16. Paid club subscriptions if enabled
NextClub may introduce paid subscription plans for club/coach accounts. Before any recurring charge begins, the applicable price, billing interval, included features, renewal terms, cancellation process, and any trial period will be presented before enrollment. Safety reporting, blocking, guardian controls, and safeguarding processes will not depend on payment status.
17. Intellectual property and user content
NextClub's software, branding, page designs, and original platform content are owned by or licensed to the operator of NextClub. Users retain responsibility for content they submit and grant NextClub the limited rights reasonably needed to display, transmit, moderate, secure, back up, and operate that content as part of the service.
18. Third-party services
NextClub may rely on hosting, email, payment, security, or other service providers. Those providers may have their own terms and privacy practices. NextClub is not responsible for third-party services outside its reasonable control.
19. Availability and changes
The service may change, experience downtime, or discontinue features. NextClub may update these terms as the product, law, providers, or safety requirements change. Material changes will be communicated appropriately and, where necessary, users may be asked to accept updated terms.
20. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, NextClub is provided on an “as available” basis. No platform can eliminate all online or offline risk. Verification, moderation, automated detection, guardian controls, email verification, and security measures reduce risk but do not guarantee identity, conduct, safety, suitability, roster outcomes, or legal compliance by every user.
21. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of NextClub will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the platform, third-party conduct, lost opportunities, or offline interactions. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
22. Suspension and termination
NextClub may suspend, restrict, or terminate access for violations of these terms, safety concerns, fraud, security threats, legal requirements, or conduct that creates unreasonable risk to users or the service. Users may request deletion of their account through available privacy tools, subject to lawful retention and safeguarding needs.
23. Governing law
Unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise, these terms are intended to be governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey and applicable federal law. No part of this section is intended to waive a right or protection that cannot legally be waived.
24. Contact
Questions about these terms may be sent to nextclubsoccer@gmail.com. Safety concerns should be reported using the in-platform reporting tools whenever possible.
